UL Innovation grants for students
UL Innovation grants for students
Since 2019, the University of Latvia has succeeded in implementing the Innovation grant programme, which aims to promote the innovation ability of students, as well as solving important issues for entrepreneurs and society, in order to raise Latvia’s international competitiveness and welfare.
This requires the support of individuals and enterprises. We particularly hope and rely on the responsiveness of UL employees, students and graduates, supporting young talented students on the way to success.
By 2022, the programme aims to carry out the following activities to achieve ambitious results:
- Students enrolled in the programme – 3000
- Realised applied research – 10
- Created innovations – 100
- Innovation internship places – 300
- UL student Business incubator number of participants- 200
- Ice-breaker festival – 4 events and 1500 participants
- New Technology & Innovation Day – 4 events and 1000 participants
- Hackathon and Innovation Courses – 50
Support talented students and participate in innovation realisation!
The programme is co-financed by the ERAF project – “UL Innovation grants for students”.
